Every cable laying crew knows the moment of tension: a bundle of identical-looking cables in the trench, and you need to cut one. Pick the wrong one and you have a safety incident, project delay, and expensive repair on your hands. The XHSB505DS eliminates that risk with a one-button identification workflow that takes seconds — no engineering degree required.

Built for the Jobsite, Not the Lab

The transmitter and receiver come in a single rugged IP65 toolbox that you can toss on the truck. The case is made from high-strength polypropylene composite — it handles 200kg of pressure, shrugs off rain and dust, and won’t crack when dropped. The Φ120mm snap-on transmitting clamp has a clear arrow marking: point it toward the target, clamp on, and go. The flexible Rogowski coil receiver probe reaches into tight trenches where rigid probes can’t fit.

How It Works on Site
  1. Clamp the transmitter onto the cable at your access point — direction arrow points toward the far end.
  2. Walk to the far end with the receiver. The large backlit LCD shows signal strength in real time.
  3. Sweep the flexible probe across the cable bundle. The target cable lights up with the strongest reading — no ambiguity, no guesswork.
  4. Mark it. Cut it. Done.
